The parents of our apprentices get to know their children’s workplace.
On May 2, Wolfram opened its doors to the parents of our apprentices. They were able to see their son’s/daughter’s apprenticeship workplace and learn many interesting facts about Wolfram.
First, the apprentices introduced the company, the apprenticeship, the department and the trainer. This gave our future skilled workers an immediate opportunity to apply the skills they had learned in presentation techniques. Afterwards, they went on a guided tour of the plant premises.
Finally, the parents were allowed to go with their son/daughter to his/her workplace and get a picture of it. It’s exciting to see where their teenagers spend most of the day! It was an interesting and informative day for both parents and apprentices.
