Quality management

Wolfram leads the tungsten industry in quality and sustainability, with certified systems for quality, environment, and occupational safety.
As worldwide first company in the tungsten industry, Wolfram had a certified quality management system in accordance with ISO 9001 already in 1994. In order to assure a sustainable handling with our environment on a permanent basis, we implemented an environmental management system according to the ISO 14001 in 1999.
Development of the integrated management systems
As a part of the continual improvement of our “Integrated Management System” for all sites, we were able to successfully certify a safety and health management system according to OHSAS 18001 in 2010. After the withdrawal of OHSAS 18001 we were able to successfully certify our occupational safety and health management system to the new standard ISO 45001 in 2020.
Due to the growing requirements in the environmental sector, an energy management system in accordance with ISO 14001 was implemented and systematically pursued within the framework of the certified environmental management system.
The continuous development of our “Integrated Management System” is an integral part of our daily work. The feedback from customers, accredited certification bodys and all other interested parties makes a significant contribution to the continuous improvement of products, processes and relevant safety, health and environmental aspects.
