Welcome – Apprentices at Wolfram

Today is a very special day for Christina, Daniel, Nadine, Sarah-Marie and Julian at the St. Martin site and Richard at the Mittersill site. These 6 young people start their apprenticeship training at WOLFRAM today. The first day of work marks the beginning of a new phase in their lives and their entry into the working world. This day is an exciting and formative event in the apprentices’ professional careers.

We wish our apprentices a good start to the 1st year of their apprenticeship and every success!

Apprentices play a crucial role as the skilled workers of tomorrow. The dual training system in Austria (practical training in the company and theoretical instruction in vocational schools) enables young people to gain a comprehensive professional qualification that prepares them well for the labor market and significantly improves their future prospects. WOLFRAM has been training apprentices for more than four decades and a large number of the apprentices remain with the company as skilled workers after their apprenticeship period.

In total, there are now 14 apprentices working at the two sites in St. Martin i.S. and Mittersill.

WOLFRAM trains the following apprenticeships:

St. Martin im Sulmtal:

  • Mechatronics / Automation Technology
  • Metal technology / Mechanical engineering
  • Electrical engineering / plant & operating technology
  • Laboratory Technology – Chemistry
  • IT-Systems Engineering

Mittersill:

  • Electrical engineering / plant and operating technology
  • Agricultural and construction machinery technology, focus: construction machinery technology
