Our locations

The mine in Mittersill (province of Salzburg) is one of the most important tungsten mining operations in the world. Scheelite is extracted in the ultra-modern underground mine, which is used as a primary raw material in the smelter in St. Martin im Sulmtal (province of Styria) together with tungsten concentrates purchased from around the world. The recycling of secondary raw materials containing tungsten is playing an increasingly important role in conserving natural resources and closing material cycles. That’s why our recycling plant in India recycles carbide tools directly into usable powder.
