What is tungsten?

Tungsten is a chemical element and the very core of our powder products. The raw material supply of tungsten comes from four different sources:

  • our own mine
  • recycled material from our recycling program
  • purchased tungsten concentrates from mines worldwide
  • supply of semi-finished products from a few, selected tungsten smelting plants

Part of our raw material supply comes from our very own mine in Mittersill, Austria.

Global ores and concentrates

We purchase ethically sourced and conflict-free tungsten raw materials from all over the world.

Recycled materials

Recycled tungsten parts makes up more than 50% of our raw material supply.
